This summer the FML welcomes Mili Shah from the Honors Level Independent research Program at John F. Kennedy High School (Plainview, NY) and Herbert Weiss (Research Coordinator) and six of his students from South Side High School (Rockville Centre, NY). Mili will be working with Dr. Russo on strepsirrhine vertebral functional morphology. Herb and his students are bringing to the lab their expertise in robotics and coding, and will be building biologically-inspired robots (image and example "bipedal bot" below).
We are also happy to announce the addition of Daphne Hudson and Sarah Mincer to the IDPAS and FML. Check out the lab page for information on Daphne and Sarah's interests.
